No sooner do we mention Movement was one of the best festivals of 2013 than we get a nudge that they'd release Phase 1 of their 2014 festival lineup. Tickets for Detroit's premier electronic music festival are currently on sale now (head over to movement.us for more details), and while the festival isn't set to go down until May 24-26, 2014, it's always good to shock and amaze with the first batch of acts that will be featured at the event. We were surprised to see that not only was this Pete Tong's debut year at Movement, but that Action Bronson was also booked. Speedy J and Lucy will be performing their first U.S. show as Zeitgeber as well. Movement's artist coordinator, Chuck Flask, had this to say about the lineup they've cultivate: “We really wanted to have some fun with the lineup this year and showcase artists that continue to reinvent the wheel of electronic music as well as a slew of hometown favorites who are legends in their own right." Check out the first 49 acts that have been announced for Movement 2014 down below.
