This is a real treat for those of you who actually love the sound known as dub. Adrian Sherwood and Pinch have been stalwarts in the dub sounds on their own, with Sherwood being a part of the mighty On-U imprint, while Pinch has been a seminal figure within the dubstep community, running Tectonic and releasing tunes from Skream, Benga, Joker, and others before they hit worldwide stardom. The two put out a joint single, “Bring Me Weed,” in the summer of 2013, and have been performing live, bringing some of the deepest dubstep to those who are brave enough to endure.
For the final night of the Dub Champions Festival, Deep Space is proud to present Sherwood & Pinch’s debut U.S. performance. It should be a serious treat for keepers of the dub. It also looks like Dubspot will be hosting a special master class with Sherwood & Pinch that’s free with RSVP. Time Out New York recently spoke with the duo about their collaboration, and got a special mix from them. This is NOT one to miss, so scoop up your tickets ASAP!
