As if there'd be any doubt.

Today, Billboard announced what we expected: Skrillex's first official album, Recess, debuted at the top of their Dance/Electronic Albums Chart. This is Skrillex's second #1 placement, with his Bangarang EP already hitting #1 in 2012 (and staying in that position for 10 weeks). Of the 47,000 copies of the album sold, word is that a whopping 87% of those sales were digital, with only 6,000 physical copies of his long-awaited album being purchased. Recess isn't just an EDM success, though; it's currently sitting at #4 on the Billboard 200. We'll see if Skrillex continues to climb the 200, and if he'll keep his position on the Dance/Electronic Albums chart.
