Billboard is going ham down in Miami with their Miami Music Week coverage, and one of the more interesting conversations is Kerri Mason speaking with Steve Aoki, who broke the news that his long-awaited album Neon Future will actually be split into two parts. While he didn't give an exact date, he mentioned that the first part would drop at the end of the summer, with the second part being released in 2015. He mentions "eight songs" on each, but that's not a total confirmation of this being a 16-track release at all. Aoki described the second part as being "deeper," with some of the other songs being more upfront. Sounds like the yin and yang of his style is being properly broken up to be deciphered in specific portions. Steve also says that he'll be releasing singles leading up to the release.

He also speaks on who you can find on the album, as well as why he moved from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. Check out the entire interview up above.
