When you hear the term bass music what do you think of? Dubstep? Trap? 110 glitch-hop? I bet you didn't think of house music or garage music. That's about to change if SubSoul has anything to do with it. The SubSoul brand initially launched in 2011 as a YouTube channel embracing a softer-side of dance music, opting for the low-down grooves and sonic seductions of bass-centric house and garage. More lounge than mainstage, SubSoul has highlighted the burgeoning scene sharing music from the likes of Disclosure, Gorgon City, Justin Martin, Dusky, XXXY, and much, much more as they've garnered over 9,000,000 views thus far.

On June 16, SubSoul will be taking the next step with their brand new compilation album. The 22-track collection features big numbers like Dusky's remix of Justin Martin's "Don't Go" and their original "Nobody Else," while Gorgon City also contributes their hit "Real." The collection will also feature three exclusives from Toyboy & Robin, The Golden Boy, and Joey McCrilley, so if you want to have this in your crates at all, you'll need to pick up this record.

You can check out their YouTube channel now to get a feel for the SubSoul sound. If you're really feeling it, follow them on Twitter to make sure you're on top of all their uploads.  They've also got a playlist of tracks with free downloads as well, so warm up those subs and hop to it.
