Autumn is just around the corner, and as your to-do list of festivals gets to-done, it's times like this that you've got to squeeze those last drops of summer out and have a few more multi-day marathon dance sessions. Let the Symbiosis Gathering put that cap on your summer months as they host the best autumn solstice party since the Mayans were still sacrificing virgins and making predictions about the end of times.
Symbiosis promises to be yet another festival that is about more than just the music, with workshops, classes, and speakers to fill your days before you melt your face off all night.
Speaking of face melting, this year's headliners include: STS9, Shpongle, Polica, Mount Kimbie, and the first US debut of Iamamwhoami (plus Husdon Mohawke, Emancipator, Active Child, Gesaffelstein, RL Grime, Chet Faker, Cashmere Cat, Ryan Hemsworth, Random Rab, Thugfucker, & J Phlip).
Located in beautiful Oakdale, CA (not Oakland, Oakdale) by a big ass lake in nature reserve, this is a festival that you can't miss. I know I won't.
