2013 is officially going to be a big year for Tiesto. Not only does he have a new compilation coming in 2013 (possibly a new Club Life mix?), he revealed to Billboard that he's planning for a new album in 2013:

Aside from touring, Tiësto says that he hasn't stopped making new music, and revealed that he planned to release a new studio album this year, his first since 2009’s Kaleidoscope.

"I had a lot of time off this winter, and I already produced a lot of new music and finalized everything a little bit," he says. “I’m going to have a lot of new releases in the couple of months."

Tiesto's also embarking on the second Club Life College Tour, which is kicking off in Syracuse on February 19, running all that way through March 9 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Helping steer this ship is Tiesto's new manager, Red Light's Coran Capshaw, who Tiesto sees as being vital to this next chapter in his career:

"I like to do big things... and if you want to do big things, you need big players around you who can help you with that.

"I think Coran Capshaw is such a brilliant entrepreneur and he always thinks about new stuff; the biggest stuff you can imagine. I know he’s working on a lot of things for me at the moment, and I think it will definitely help my career to go to the next level."

It feels like Tiesto spent the end of 2012 planning out 2013, and it'll be interesting to see where he takes his career this year.
