Today Ultra was happy to announce that the Ultra Music Festival will remain in Miami after the City of Miami Commission voted 4-1 to keep Ultra in Miami. That won't stop them from working "closely with the City of Miami, the Bayfront Park Management Trust, City of Miami Police Department and other municipal partners, small business owners and the local downtown community to ensure next year’s event is a safe and fun environment for concertgoers and Miami residents." Ultra's won for now, and it looks like the union police chief is trying to outline ways for Ultra to keep the peace and maintain a higher level of security. While Marc Sarnoff hasn't given a statement (yet), Ultra posted their official words about this on their Facebook page, and get your UMF Miami 2015 plans sorted out right now:
