Ultra Music Festival Stages are Being Inspected After LED Screen Collapse

The 2013 Ultra Music Festival is just hours from start; anyone who was concerned about safety after an LED screen fell last night, injuring two workers, word is that the UMF stages are being checked by engineers and safety officials. These precautions are mandatory, and must be signed off on by OSHA, Miami Fire-Rescue, and city engineers before the UMF can go on.

true – it was a scary thing to see less than 24 hours before the UMF was to go on. they had to get approval for everything before the festival could go on, though, so our assumption is that everything was up to code.
