With the 15th anniversary of the Ultra Music Festival hours away from kicking off, Ultra had no choice but to respond to the situation that occurred last night:
Today (Thursday, March 14) as preparations were being made for this weekend’s Ultra Music Festival, a section of an LED screen fell and injured two workers. Fire Rescue was on site so there was a rapid response. Festival organizers are working with, and supporting, authorities as they investigate the details behind the accident.
While no Ultra Music Festival ticketholders were reportedly on the scene, one has to wonder if this will deter others from making it to the massive event. We doubt it, as the UMF has turned into a huge part of the American EDM scene. The UMF is virtually sold out.
