Thus, forthcoming Motion album single "Slow Acid" being a funky mid-tempo take on jacking underground Chicago/UK acid house shouldn't necessarily surprise. With the likes of Duke Dumont and Gorgon City going full-blown soulful '90s vocal/piano house vibes, Harris releasing something chronologically similar, yet dissonant by comparison allows his sound and style to retain a uniqueness against the competition. With a dark, spooky and artistic video to match the track's vibe, this one may get lost on pop fanatics, but totally deserves a few spins in the club for the heads.
