When a bass enthusiast loves a house tune, something truly special is going on. When they're calling a house record one of the best of the year, you might want to pay attention. Hot Since 82's Little Black Book was a genius release, but "Shadows" was one of the highlights. We now have visuals reminiscent of a Mad Max movie. Someone driving a murdered-out whip runs into an underground science lab and goes on a killing spree while on a mission. It's shot incredibly well, and is a wonderful contrast to the upbeat tone of the record.
