Watch a Short Documentary on Nicole Moudaber Creating Her “Believe” Album

Nicole Moudaber released her full-length album Believe earlier this spring on Adam Beyer‘s famed Drumcode label.  The LP has been lauded by techno aficionados and it has only cemented her position as the “Queen of Techno.”  Today, we have the full 13 minute documentary in which Nicole talks about her journey from being a “professional clubber” through her process of making and releasing Believe.  The documentary features Moudaber speaking candidly about her musical education, her philosophy on DJing and what has gone into making the album.  While Feed Me might say DJing isn’t an art, Nicole touches on her days on the dancefloor analyzing the different inter-workings of the DJ set, saying that DJing isn’t just playing records but a “cathartic experience” and that as soon as she hits the decks, she’s “on another planet.” With an aura of passion and zest oozing out of her, the documentary provides an endearing look into the world of Nicole Moudaber.
