When you think of electronic music being used for video games centered around sports, it's usually of the "Animals" for Madden 25 variety. I won't say that this signifies a true changing of the guard, but this official E3 NHL 15 trailer being soundtracked with Porter Robinson's "Sea of Voices" makes the game look much more epic. It's definitely unexpected, and with those beautiful graphics and the shots chosen, it just works so well. Especially knowing that Porter is a gamer.
NHL 15 is out on September 9; Porter's worlds is out August 12.
