If only games of love were as easy as the 8-bit carts we grew up on. For the official video for Hayden James‘ debut single “Permission to Love,” we’re treated to a humorous game of love in all of it’s old school Nintendo-esque glory. You follow the plight of a young male and his travels, looking for love (sometimes in the wrong places), which parallels to the struggles many have trying to find their love (or lust) in the real world. It’s quirky, but that’s part of its charm. Hayden’s one of those artists that we think can follow in the footsteps of Flume or James Blake.
