Ragga Twins – “Deadly Zone”

It’s dope to see the Ragga Twins still killing things. Any real fan of the jungle scene knows these two for the true legends they are. I was actually watching the 20 Years of Jungle Mania documentary the other night, and they had a pretty dope chat about their roots in the jungle scene, and it was great to hear that, while they wanted to make sure they had their styles in order, they also made sure to keep the consciousness in their tunes. For “Deadly Zone” (which is taken from forthcoming EP on Boom Ting), they spit about their home, Hackney. As you should be able to take from the title, shit isn’t pretty out there, but this isn’t about bragging on the venom in the streets, but trying to overcome it. The back-to-the-futuristic vibes from this Ogre-produced beat does enough to keep you motivated without missing a lyric. Wheeeeel it if you feel it.

I’m with you. There’s nobody that could make “Ring ding ding ding dinga-dinga-dinga-dinga-dinga” a workable lyric like the Ragga Twins, lol. Such good party vibes, everytime.
