Sub Focus' Torus turned heads primarily because he properly executed what he wanted to do, which was explore within the vast realm of "EDM" instead of doing what his "hardcore fans" might have wanted, which would've been "moar drums and bass!" On "Turn Back Time," we get a chest-thumping house cut that's driven by a powerful vocal and soaring melodies. He's just on fire, and it's great to see him progressing in a manner he sees fit.
