Parodies only work if they're funny, right? As dance music has gained more traction via mainstream appeal and just overall Internet exposure, we've seen many parodies try and fail to roast their subjects. This? This might work. Conceived as a "a harmless piss-take-ToiletRoom will mimic the format of the now infamous Boiler Room music portal, and offer viewers the chance to witness some of the finest DJs and producers, throwing down their ripest of nuggets from the depths of the grimiest porcelain palaces we can find," Sydney, Australia's Toilet Room recently kicked off their DJ series with a slick 70-minute mix from Paleman that takes place in a tiny stall. If this were just a quick clip featuring cliches and, ahem, toilet humor, we'd dismiss it, but Paleman went IN with the mix, and the people here actually seem to be having a ball in what appears to be a cramped bathroom. Hopefully this is the first of many Toilet Room sessions (and that Boiler Room isn't pissed off).
