We’re a week away from the release of Daft Punk‘s much-talked about Random Access Memories, and the anticipation (at least on DAD’s end) is at a fever pitch. And let us say, there’s definitely a huge difference between an early iTunes stream (which should be going down at some point today) and purchasing a CD (or vinyl) copy of an album, opening the package, taking in the artwork, and pressing play. Somewhere in the androids lair, the androids got their CONFIDENTIAL copy of the vinyl of Random Access Memories and did their own unboxing. Note the gatefold with their huge custom synthesizer, and the classic red Columbia label on the vinyl. DAD needs this album!
