The fall of 2013 found both Dada Life and Steve Aoki officially breaking Guinness World Records. While they're pretty odd feats (largest pillow fight, longest cheer, and most glowsticks), these DJs still have their names in the record books. While sales records are cool, the next hotshot could come in and sweep your piece of history under the rug with a random viral campaign. All of this got us wondering, though: what OTHER world records should these DJs try to break? Which DJs will step up to the plate and get their plaques in the new year?

Potential Record Breaker(s): Steve Aoki

Aoki could add a third record to his mantle place; we've seen him reportedly hit a wheelchair-bound fan with a cake thrown from 80 feet away; how is this not already in the book?!

Potential Record Breaker(s): Diplo

Most of the top dance music DJs are performing fairly regularly, but how many DJs took a helicopter and performed in four different cities in one night? We imagine Diplo could figure out how to sort out how to do this on a grand scale.

Potential Record Breaker(s): DJ Chuckie, DJ Kidd Luke

Uncle Ben once told a young Peter Parker, "with great power, comes great responsibilty." Few people better understand the gravity of that statement better than DJs and their audiences when it comes to using the microphone. When utilized in careful and well thought-out moderation, the microphone is capable of creating a vital connection between DJ and crowd. When misused it can become an infernal instrument of torture and can ruin what would otherwise have been a great show. While we aren't here to pass out judgement, our money for the record of DJ with the biggest fraction of set time spent talking on the microphone has got to be on DJ Chuckie. Listen/watch any of his sets and we are sure you will agree. DJ Kidd Luke might have something to say about that, however...
